Amitabh Bachchan has officially joined Twitter and he started off on a exciting note with a tweet to son Abhishek Bachchan - "Hey baby!! I made it on twitter!!! Yeeaaaaaahhhh !! ... sorry... just got carried away... safe onward flight and love."

Abhishek confirmed the authenticity of the account with the following tweet.
"Ladies and gentlemen. HE IS HERE! Big B in da house!," Abhishek posted on his Twitter page to confirm the news Tuesday. "Welcome Pa. Show him the love tweeps!!," he added.
