Hrithik Roshan’s wax statue to be added to Madame Tussauds museum
After Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan, it’s Hrithik Roshan’s turn to have his wax statue in the famous Madame Tussauds museum, London. The statue will be installed in the museum during the first half of next year.
Andre Timmins, one of the directors of Wizcraft, told IANS, "We began our association with the world-famous Madame Tussauds museum in 2000 when at the inaugural International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards in 2000 at the Millennium Dome, Amitabh Bachchan was announced as the first ever Indian film star to be honoured in wax. Then followed a string of select Indian stars and we are very pleased that Hrithik Roshan now joins this esteemed waxed league, within a decade of entering the film industry."
Madame Tussauds has disappointed the admirers of SRK and Ash earlier as the statues didn’t turn out to be as impressive as expected. All that we can do now is to hope that this isn’t repeated in Hrithik’s case.

Aruna Shields’ love-making scenes don’t help Mr. Singh/Mrs. Mehta

She made her debut in Vivek Oberoi’s caper film, Prince – It’s Showtime. The movie tanked though it had a good opening weekend and Aruna Shieldswas noted solely for her bikini act and the kissing scenes with her co-star. She managed to get cast in another Bollywood movie with less-known faces.

Her second movie, Mr. Singh/Mrs. Mehta made up for the absence of big stars by its abundance of love-making scenes and Aruna took it upon herself to make the movie hotter by shedding all her inhibitions and her clothes. Three long sequences of love-making have been featured in the movie for which the movie got an A certificate from the censor board which passed it without cropping any of the love-making scenes.

Despite the over the top nudity, the movie failed to take a decent initial at the box-office. For some reason the movie turned out to be a disaster which validated that sex doesn’t always sell.
